1. Trader Information

These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between "Auto Aleya" Ltd., Company No. 204751128, registered address: Sofia, 21-vi vek St. 23, fl. 1, ap. 3 (hereinafter "the Company" or "Auto Aleya"), and any person (hereinafter "the Customer") using the website autoaleya.bg and/or the car rental services offered by the Company.

2. Scope of Activity

Auto Aleya provides short-term and long-term car rental services within the Republic of Bulgaria, booked via the website autoaleya.bg, by phone, or in person at a Company office.

3. Booking and Contract Formation

A booking is made by completing a form on the website with the selected vehicle, dates, and Customer details. The rental agreement is considered concluded once online payment is successfully confirmed, or upon written confirmation from the Company.

Before completing the booking, the Customer declares agreement with these Terms & Conditions and with the Privacy Policy by checking the relevant box in the booking form.

4. Prices and Payment Methods

All prices on the website are in euro (EUR) per day of rental, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Payment is made online by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, Borica) via a secure virtual POS terminal operated by a licensed Bulgarian bank, or in person by cash/card upon vehicle pickup — depending on the method chosen at booking.

The Company does not store the Customer's card details — payment is processed entirely by the bank providing the payment service.

5. Vehicle Rental Conditions

• Minimum driver age: 21 years old, with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
• Required documents: a valid driving license and ID card/passport.
• Deposit: held on a bank card at vehicle pickup, in the amount stated in the respective vehicle's details; released automatically after the vehicle is returned in the agreed condition.
• All vehicles come with full Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and third-party liability insurance.
• Unlimited mileage within Bulgaria and the EU, unless otherwise agreed.
• The vehicle is provided and must be returned with a full fuel tank.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Under Art. 57(9) of the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act, car rental services with a specified performance date are excluded from the general 14-day right of withdrawal under Art. 50 of the same Act. Instead, the Company offers the following contractual cancellation policy:

• The Customer may cancel a booking free of charge up to 72 hours before the agreed pickup time. In this case, the amount paid is refunded in full.
• If cancelled less than 72 hours before the pickup date, the Company retains a fee equal to the first day's rental, and the remainder is refunded.
• If the Customer fails to show up without prior notice, the amount paid is non-refundable.
• Refunds are issued to the card used for payment, within 10 business days of the cancellation being approved.
• To cancel or change a booking, the Customer should contact the Company using the details in Section 1.

7. Liability of the Parties

The Customer is responsible for the vehicle throughout the rental period, including fines, fees, and damage not covered by insurance (e.g. due to non-compliance with the terms of use or gross negligence). The Company is not liable for losses arising from delays due to reasons beyond its control (force majeure, road conditions, technical issues outside its control).

8. Processing of Personal Data

The Customer's personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms & Conditions.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, the parties will seek an amicable resolution. If this is not possible, the dispute may be referred to the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Commission (KZP, kzp.bg), the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr), or the competent Bulgarian court.

10. Changes to These Terms

The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions. Changes take effect from the date they are published on the website and do not affect already confirmed bookings.
